Aw Shucks Oyster Bar

I was not at all impressed by my food. I ordered the fried catfish and shrimp and the breading on both was horrible. It tasted like it had been dredged in the coating after it was cooked. Tasted awful.. The catfish was just a small thin piece and was very dry. There were 4 shrimp which were just okay and I had to pull off the breading to eat them. On the other hand, the cucumber margarita was very good and saved the meal from being a total loss. Got our food quickly but the girl behind the counter who took our order was practically devoid of personality. Probably won't go back.

Came on a Sunday earlier this year and had a great time. Fantastic, swift ordering system. The staff were patient as we reviewed the menu options for the first time. The raw oysters are the main characters here, in addition to the margarita! The restaurant is extremely clean and attentive to bussing tables. I would come back for sure! First time here and we loved the food. I ordered the broil. It was enough for two people I took some home and enjoyed it later too. My bf got coconut shrimp with fries. That's was also good. We got some Oysters. Those were awesome you can taste the freshness. Very clean. I didn't like the cup the margarita came in and to me it was small than ordinary but it was a good margarita. The shrimp cocktail had lots of shrimp and the base had a good taste. We spent a good buck but it was worth it over all. I would like to give props to Gustavo he was very helpful and helped us order. He made sure we got our order correct and to our liking. 5 stars for him!
