Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! Don't be fooled by it being in a mall/food court, the people at Aviva know how to make some seriously quality food. The workers were also super friendly despite the very busy convention crowd and helped me pick out from their various different options for a plate. I'd go out of my way to stop by here next time I'm in Atlanta.
I went to a wedding up in Tennessee in October, and on the way I decided that I should stop by Atlanta for what has been in their top restaurants for a long time now. You gotta find street or garage parking and then walk to an underground food court underneath a giant business building of some sort. This place has a following, and for good reason. A mega line was out the door, but they kept it moving like a conveyor belt. All while offering free samples of the lentil soup to everyone. All while a man in the kitchen was yelling at everyone welcome in and thanks for coming back to the people he recognized. There was a good vibe. We got two platters, one chicken shawarma and one salmon. The chicken looked like it was gonna be dry and need sauce, it wasn't. It was juicy and spiced to the nines. So good. Very earthly with a little kick. The salmon, dear Lord, the salmon was on another level. It was sauced with an almost-sweet chili sauce sauce, and it was tossed with many different types o
Just - wow!!! We had a board meeting in town and reached out the day before to see if they could accommodate an order for ~30 people, some of whom had food allergies. Every person I interacted with was incredibly helpful, and super-responsive. I sent a spreadsheet over with our orders and had one person who said she couldn’t typically eat from restaurants because of a sesame allergy. The restaurant contacted me personally and said they would prepare a special dish for her without that ingredient (it’s typically part of a sauce). We also had one who didn’t like broccoli, and they accommodated him as well. Each meal came in an individual container with a label on it indicating who’d ordered it. The baklava was out of this world. The food got rave reviews from all of the board members. It was very filling for everyone. When we ordered, they told me that though they closed earlier, they still were not only willing, but able to deliver our food for dinner (after they’d closed). They were fr
