We were in a rush to get to a play, and going to a sit-down restaurant seemed like it would take to much time. Luckily, Avila's was able to get us our food within 10 minutes of us ordering! Our food tasted very good even for a sit-down restaurant, and while we were waiting, they would give us lots of chips. My only complaint was that my steak burrito tasted like brownies for some reason, but the flavor was still welcome, just surprising. Parking: It seemed like there was another business there because there were so many parking spots.
Awesome family feel restaurant. Staff was great we can tell management takes care of them. Food was awesome also, authentic Mexican food
Went in expecting good things, maybe a lunch special or happy hour deal... They did have those, however it was not a deal at all. The lowest priced item on their specials menu was 14.50 and it was just a taco salad. I ordered a chili relleno burrito and two Michelob Ultras. The burrito was 3/4 pinto beans, rice and some weird fried egg/chili mixture that resembled scrambled eggs. Not what I was expecting, and when the bill came I was even more surprised, as each of those Michelobs cost 7.00 lol. My meal was 16 plus 14 for two beers, after tax and tip I was out $40+. I should have taken a picture of my plate when I was finished, there was an enormous amount of uneaten pinto beans from the burrito. Service was okay, chips and salsa were kept full and drinks were prompt. I guess I was expecting better prices or at least better quality.
