Aunt Yese's Home Cooking

After visiting in November 2020 and having such a wonderful experience, I had to come back while in town for a trip to Disneyland. I had the breakfast tacos (I'm a vegetarian) and the regular French toast and both are excellent. Their homemade salsa has such great flavor and heat, and I am always appreciative when a restaurant has soyrizo. I am also a French toast over pancakes and waffles person so I think I have pretty high standards and I have dreamed about this French toast since coming here 8 months ago. My family members all ordered different items and aren't vegetarians and they all are California natives and they all loved what they ordered so much that they wished we had come for breakfast every day of our trip. But what really keeps bringing me back is the service. The staff is always so friendly and clearly love the food and the place they work, and that can make or break a food experience. I don't want this place to ever go away so it's here every time I come back.

There was a long wait but it was totally worth it. The food made the wait worth wild. For 3 of us, it came out to around $67. The country fried steak, eggs and the home fries were to die for. I would highly recommend checking this place out. Staff was incredibly friendly and it felt like we were at home with family. You're able reserve your spot on yelp and I would highly recommend getting on the wait list. I will definitely be coming back.
