honestly very disappointing! as someone who enjoys eating out at mexican restaurants, this one is by far the worst i’ve ever had. for starters, it is a mexicali type cuisine. if you want something close to the genuine thing i would go to either puerto vallarta in orange/milford or toritos in north haven. the inside is very tight. the tables are close together, and it only seems like they have limited tables inside. the atmosphere is not cute as the bar and dining area are not separate. you are close together so it’s like everyone could hear your conversation. it took a while to be waited on. the waiter seemed to be running everything himself (poor guy). as for the food itself, just awful. i ordered the steak fajitas and you can choose from any 3 sides: i chose rice, beans and guacamole. at any other restaurant, they would bring you your plate of rice and beans, but they gave me this small bowl filled with boxed goya rice that tasted awful and bland, and they practically mixed my beans

Enjoyed tha outdoor patio with friends during Happy Hour.. great service ????, chips and salsa, jalapeño poppers, chix tenders and Santa fe egg rolls.. all pretty good.. has been before and will go again. I would def recommend the birria tacos and esquites..
