Atwater in the Park

Had the gluten free vegan pizza this time. It was ok.... It was nice to have vegan chorizo and vegan cheese. The crust was very under done on the bottom, and around the edges, well done. It kind of reminded me of a hot-pocket in flavor, which was a cool throwback. Features: No restrictions

First - I love Atwater Brewery. Their "Dirty Blonde" (North American-style Weizen brewed with Canadian wheat and barley) is Detroit staple. On the opposite side of the spectrum is their "City Juice" (an explosion of orange and grapefruit combined with bright Citra, Cascade and Zythos Hops). Add in what I would describe as my favorite craft brewery location, a re-purposed church in a walker friendly, urban setting and Atwater in the Park is an absolute winner. 5 ⭐

Absolutely gorgeous brewery. It was built in an old church and they left the stained glass windows and other touches within. There was a nice outdoor patio as well. Plenty of delicious drinks and the food was very good. The brewers bread was delectable and the pizza was solid. Would like to come back and try more of the menu!
