First off, the food was far overpriced for what you get. These guys are using the same ingredients as any other diner in the area but mark up the prices far more than they should be able to. Maybe they make their own bread but an almost $14 salad should not be made with canned beets and a frozen vege patty (overlooking the entire other can of worms of why your serving a whole, hot vege patty on top of a salad). A side salad on a $11 breakfast sandwich should not be just lettuce tossed in a dressing with a sad tomato on the side. Idk why it seems to be so hard for restaurants like this in Rochester (ones that present the image of being "higher quality food") to just use fresh ingredients. It's not hard to prep ingredients like tomatoes (the one I received was at least 1 or 2 days in the prep container) the day of and to make your own ingredients for stuff like salads from scratch. Pickled beets from scratch are not hard to make. For all of the farms in the area that you have access to,

I feel like I’m giving away a secret reviewing this. Three visits so far, definitely coming back! The menu is short and each option looks good - bonus points for creativity and a menu that changes! Prices seem reasonable. Fresh ingredients. Only down side is you may have to wait to get a table, but it’s worth it! (I can only comment on the brunch/lunch experience, although my expectations would be high for dinner too)

Phenomenal food, service and environment. Where have these kimchi pancakes been all my life? Perfect balance of sweet and savory and fluffy.
