Disappointing & so petty. Just know, if you call in an order to go, they will short you. I paid $17 dollars for each corned beef and cabbage. I know the portions they serve are bigger than this because we have dined in before. Olive can and hand for size reference. We were both SO mad when I got home with “dinner”. 5 shreds of cabbage? Why!? Also, happy hour appetizers doesn’t apply to take out orders? I’m sorry- do you NOT want to take our money ? You don’t have to serve us, no dishes, no time, no cleaning, no extras in restaurant… why would you charge more for takeout?! That’s insane to me! Ashlings… why!? We are both so disappointed. We will not be back to Ashlings again until it becomes under new management. Now on with Dominos to save the night. ????
I’ve been here several times since discovering this place February 2020 because it never disappoints. The staff is attentive and friendly. Don’t be afraid to ask for suggestions. First visit? Order a Bloody Mary and don’t forget to mention the spice level you want. Then try the Colcannon Poppers to add to the smile. I’ve enjoyed all I’ve tried there but my sandwich suggestion would be the Red Reuben (cuzI like things on the spicier side). As for the entree, the Guiness Pot Roast is the one I order most, but again, there’s no wrong decision. You’re more than likely taking some of the sandwich or entree home but don’t let that be a reason to not enjoy a dessert. Prepare to want to come back. ???? There’s also a brunch menu for the early crowd on the weekends. I don’t recall having ordered anything other than the Eggs Benedict with salmon because it’s a guilty pleasure of mine. Maybe another reviewer will provide a bit more. ???? If you’re in/near Kenosha or need a reason to g
Unfortunately can't give more stars, for place where they can't even make right, grilled cheese sandwich. After sending back the first sandwich, got second one - this time with WHOLE two pieces of cheese. My friend ordered sweet beets salad, and was a joke as well! Decided not to eat dry bread and went for brunch somewhere else.
