Asahi Sushi Bar & Restaurant

First time at Asahi! The decor is nice, but on a Saturday lunch hour, it was a bit empty. The music was really off - playing loud "club" music (louder than it should be) so it threw me off a bit. The rolls were smaller than normal (compared to what I've had in Utah County) and they were just OK - nothing out of the ordinary. The service was decent, but nothing was memorable enough for me to come back.

This is a cute and well done sushi restaurant but it has so much more to offer! I'm a self proclaimed foodie and picky eater on a budget. This place is affordable and delicious. I forgot pics of most of it but I got the donburri steak bowl and it comes with this amazing and food size "side salad" I could honestly order just that and eat it all day.. it has a delicious homemade ginger dressing much like the typical places but really really sooo much better! (Sorry I ate most of it before I remembered the pic lol) Our server was attentive and funny. My daughter got the salmon kids meal with noodles (7.99).. amazing.. especially considering most places have mediocre kids meals at the same price. She was dancing ???? she liked it so much. I will not the sauce on the noodles is a bit different so if your child is picky maybe ask for it on the side to see if they like it. My daughter loved it but it's not your typical sauce. Anyway great place! We will be back often! Dietary restrictions: M

This place has incredibly fresh food! You can tell they use fresh, non frozen veggies in the Japanese Coconut Curry. Which was out of this world btw. The sushi options are amazing as is the agedashi tofu. They do have tamari for the gluten free crowd. Ultra vegan and veggie friendly.
