We enjoyed Aria. They have great reviews so we wanted to try them out. The staff is top-notch, very accommodating. We had family visiting from out of state and wanted to try a new restaurant I'm Atlanta with them. We all got salads to start, the beet salad was very tasty. For dinner I had the duck breast, my husband had the halibut and my sister-n-law had the trout. All 3 were excellent. The desserts we also yummy. Their spin on chocolate cheese cake is amazing. The lemon pound cake & blueberry upside-down cake were also yummy. Their prices a definitely up there but worth the drive into the city. Great atmosphere, pretty loud though with a full house. Not a negative for us, just stating, if you're looking for quiet and intimate this wasn't the place for that.
We did the 7 course tasting menu for our honeymoon - and we were looking forward to the meal all trip. We saved money just to eat here which was a mistake. It started out nice but around the 3rd or 4th course our forks and knives started tasting like cleaning supplies? Maybe hand sanitizer? It completely ruined the rest of our meal. The manager came up and apologized, but the bottom line is that we paid an insane amount of money to basically have three good courses and four that tasted like hand sanitizer. They swapped the forks out but our mouths couldn’t recover from the taste *and it happened with three different forks*. The food we did eat before the bad taste was very good, although the portions are definitely small so be aware of that if you do the tasting courses. I am allergic to shellfish so I asked to swap the shellfish course out for a different course and then we were charged for the “modification”, although they did take that off of our bill for not explaining there would
Great fine dining experience for our anniversary! Really well executed dishes. Definitely would recommend trying a couple different things too because everything was perfect. Looking forward to returning and trying something new!
