Arepera La Nueva

Service is HORRIBLE! I saw that they are close at 1:00am so I called before to see if they could attend me if I was there at 12:52am. The girl said yes! I was surprised that they were able to serve me 8minutes before closing. I drove 26 minutes to the place. When I arrived the same girl told me that they just had 2 arepas available” like seriously?? She said yes over the phone just for me to go to the place and then offered me the left overs they had in the kitchen? Disgusting people and place.

The food normally is good, however, their customer service is below sub-standard which makes you think twice before going or ordering from here. The place is okay for a quick grab but that’s it. If you can please try to eat here during the day, by night the food quality greatly decreases (burned empanadas), my guess is that the night shift doesn’t care about the food or anything. Their empanada and arepas are good, every other dish that they have is better to get it at other Venezuelan restaurants in the Orlando area. Empanada de carne mechada is a must if you never eaten Venezuelan empanadas.

I have tried several Venezuelan spots since moving to the Orlando area and by far this is my favorite!! I had the arepa with everything, it had shredded chicken some shrimp, also had potatoes and cheese among other things, it was packed and very satisfying...It was so delicious! Paired with the passion fruit juice it was BOMB!! definitely will return when I'm in the area.
