Archibald’s Restaurant at Gardner Village

Very pleasant experience! The food was on point, and cooked very well. I got the fish & chips and my husband got the chicken fried steak. Both were very good and the perfect amount of food. We were seated quickly and our waitress was amazing! Highly recommend!

I already wrote about this place in my Gardner Village review, so check that out. But basically, we had a wonderful experience. The food was great, the wait staff was exceptional and our meal didn't cost a lot. We had the Half &Half Appetizer (half breaded avocado & half fried green tomatoes ) We were served hot rolls with sundried tomato and bacon dressing (so good) Our entree were: Chicken Enciladas with rice and beans, Lemon Chicken with rice pilaf, roasted artichoke hearts and carrots. The price was good, the food was delicious and the service was exceptional. We brought home half of our meals, so the portion size is generous without being huge. Really don't need the appetizer, but it was so good, we'll probably not skip it next time we come here.

We had a lovely dinner at Archibald's. Started off with fresh rolls and orange butter. Oh my gosh so yummy! Then spring mix, side salads with avocado ranch dressing. Very fresh and the dressing was delicious. I think the salad mix could have been chopped finer. My husband had Lemon Artichoke Pasta and really enjoyed it. I had Lemon Chicken which was tasty but needed more lemon flavor. Finally we shared Carrot Cake for dessert. Very rustic cake with light cream cheese frosting sprinkled with walnuts and drizzled with caramel. The service was excellent and atmosphere pleasant. Definitely will be back!
