After avoiding Arby's for years, I returned with high hopes, anticipation and gaurded expectations for the new, limited time only Wagyu Steakhouse Burger. I had the burger, fries and shake. The burger was terrible because the patty was old, overcooked and dried out. The fries were cold and I did not care for the shake. All available tables were dirty, the floors were filthy and the area for drinks and condiments was unkept. With 4 employees present, I'm guessing cleanliness is not a priority. I got their burger sauce on the side and opted not to use it. This must be a business nightmare for the national chain, spending ad money and trying hard to bring new customers in and this is what you get. I see no reason to return. The one bright spot was the cheerful, upbeat and accomodating young man behind the counter.
A very disappointing visit. I ordered a French Dip. It seems they were out of au jus sauce. No one said anything to me about it till I was waiting at the counter for our order. Everything else is made and on the tray. The kid at the counter asked about my sandwich. Then they told him no au jus sauce. No offer to change the sandwich order. So I told them that was OK. So then they made my sandwich. Seems they have cut back on how much meat is on each sandwich again. We will not be back!
It had been a while since we went to Arby's. Today I craved it so we went for lunch. They gave my son a completely different sandwich after waiting additional time. My beef and cheddar barely had any special sauce. Fries used to be delicious. Now, not so much. Honestly, I was disappointed. Will not be going back.
