The atmosphere was great. Customer service on point. Our server King was great and the food was eatable. Service was great.
I was kind of disappointed. The food was just ok. The chicken tenders and the grilled chicken were both bland. We go to this particular Applebees quite often, and I'm not sure if there's a new cook, but we weren't happy with our food. The service was even worse than the food, which also surprised me. The tables were sticky, I think it's going to be a while before I go back to this Applebees.
I am extremely happy with this applebees location! The staff there is top notch. I had the pleasure of having Caitlin T as my server that day. She was so thoughtful, and extremely bubbly! I had a rough day so I was telling her a bit of my story (servers are like therapists right?) anyway as I was pouring my heart out about my sons father (you can see where that story was heading) she suggested which meal would be best! She absolutely made me forget about my horrible day & let a sad person rant! She was so down to earth, a real life Angel.. an Applebees Angel if you will. I will be going there all the time, we need more people like Caitlin in the world! I also then had the pleasure of interacting with the General manager Megan Sanchez who without a doubt was extremely helpful with helping me get directions to my next destination (I have not been a Staten Island resident long). Megan was busy as it must have been a dinner rush, but I have to say she got everything done with the quickness
