Applebee's Grill + Bar

The waitress was awesome. She was tentative but not excessively. The taste and presentation of our food was outstanding. Would have expected a little bit more portion size, but I still got full. The alcohol was on point. Definitely worth more than the price I paid. At the time, it wasn't too packed, so it could've been a little bit cleaner. The floor was kind of sticky but not annoyingly sticky. Overall, we had an awesome anniversary dinner.

The food was ok...but the service sucked. We walked in and saw 4 staff member sitting by the bar. We stood there for maybe 4 minutes and not one time did they speak or ask what we needed. We sat ourselves and then they decided to talk and say we'll seat you while giving us bad stares. Thankfully our waitress Tree came through and saved our experience. She apologized and took car of us pretty quick. When you go ask for the waitress Tree and she got you. But the service we got when we walked in reminded us why we don't ever stop there.

Even though the restaurant was basically empty restaurant (it was late - approx 8:45-9pm), party of 9 told initially that they could not serve our party size, and service would require manager approval. Next, we were told that we would not be seated until everyone arrived…. Okay, no problem! Policy is policy. Ten minutes later, the last two of our party arrive, we inform the host that we are all present. THEN wait an additional 15 minutes for them to get table ready! In an empty restaurant!! We ended up leaving for another restaurant across the street. ????????
