Applebee's Grill + Bar

Had lunch and watched the Chiefs game. There was only one waitress and it was her first day on the floor post training. As expected, service was slow under the circumstances however, our waitress Emily was amazing. She stayed cool under pressure and still provided great service with a smile. The manager who was helping in the kitchen, on the floor and was also the bartender. Sadly my Long Island tea was watered down when it came to the table and even though I empathized with their situation, I didn't want to pay for a drink I didn't enjoy. I told Emily about the drink, she apologized, and said that she will get her manager to remake the Long Island tea. About 10 minutes later the manager comes over, looks at the Long Island tea and states "I made that". I wasn't sure what response she was looking for so I just stared and asked for a new one or for it to be taken off the bill (at this point I was over it) She snatched the glass and said okay and walked away..... I got a the chicken and garlic potatoes off the 2x29. The chicken reminded me of a tortoise shell. Crunchy/chewy/nasty. The fake potatoes were a real winner. I dipped my tongue into them on the tip of my spoon and winced. Brutal food. Nice service. No wonder why this place looked like a graveyard…. I would have rather eaten a cheeseburger off of McDonald’s floor after a worker or two stepped on it

Came here first time. Seated pretty fast however waited 15 min to order a meal. What a disaster!!! No excuse it wasn’t even busy. The cook came out and said I was busy. Seriously?!!! I raised my hand and no one looked at me. NOT RECOMMENDED!
