I feel bad about this. Just tonight was so bad here. None of the wait staff were doing a good job tonight. At all. The two managers were just running around and clueless. The guy who was seating people should be in the back doing dishes as he didn’t care to be seating people either. The food was good but poor service really ruined it tonight. Between having to constantly ask for refills, silverware, napkins, the food to be reheated. It was just bad. It sucks the Frisco location closed. I will have to go to McKinney from now on.
Waited to be seated in an empty restaurant. The greeter was in the back folding napkins while watching his phone. Then we were seated 8 min later. Since this Applebee's has no concept of first come first served, or servers with tables and communication about who is seated in a section. The server just took the order of the first table they walked into. That was the third in line. After waiting 20 min. We left. Lazy dog is great, so is 54th St. I am at Lazy Dog now. Greeted, having my drink order taken. Food ordered. Happy. If you want happy Applebee's isn't the place. They don't care. Either the owner is too stingy to pay anyone enough to care, or culture is tanked. Whatever, not my problem. Remember when Ruby Tuesday went out of business, and Red Robin? Well next up is Applebee's. It was great in 95, when I was a kid, but now it's way past prime. Not going to waste my time here anymore. You shouldn't either. Here's praying that they go out of business and someone puts a modern re
Ordered 2 "bacon ranch crispy chicken sandwiches " neither came with bacon, barely any ranch, no pickles, one tomato. Very disappointed one again with this location. Our previous visit after being seated no one came to help us, take drink order, anything.. we left after 15 mins of sitting there and servers just staring not wanting to work.
