Applebee's Grill + Bar

Bar table area is okay to find your own seats if available. Didn't know this but now I do for quick seating. Happy hour drinks are not great there water down. Had to add also seating people next to a giant window with the blinds up is not only hot (this is AZ) but kills the mood of a nice relaxing atmosphere with music. A veiw of the parking lot is not worth it, and the bright sun shining on your face is blinding while you try to enjoy a cocktail. Close the shades and change this with nice dim lights you already have on in the day.

I ordered the steak with the understanding that I would get a dozen shrimp for a buck. I found out they were double crunch which means double dip in the breading. Kind of like popcorn shrimp, all breading no shrimp. I opted out of the shrimp. The steak was overdone for my rare request but had good flavor. The wait person, Rosa, was excellent. I would recommend the restaurant.

Yesterday 09/17/21, around 6:45pm, I went by myself for dinner. I could not see the menu and it was soooo dark in that restaurant!!! I thought I ordered the steak with shrimp ???? but it was just steak with a lot of fat on the steak and a lot of nasty mashed potatoes!!! Waitress was rude and very disrespectful!!! Rushed my order!!! Steak ???? had a lot of fat and the drink ???? was watered down and had no alcohol which it stated it had Grey Goose Vodka which was a LIE!!! Front Fourier was nasty, greasy ???? and dirty!!! They COMP me for the steak but made me pay for the watered down drink and the nasty walking tacos ???? with hardly no meat ????!!! I WILL NEVER ???????? GO BACK TO THIS APPLEBEES AND I CALLED CORPORATE!!!
