Applebee's Grill + Bar

Dennis the GM was extremely fast, went out of his way, and sat us promptly knowing we arrived just before apps were done being half price. He sent our server Jeryl over super swift and got our order in on time! She continued to have a smile and serve with grace and positivity the entire time! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Let me start by saying I love Applebee's happy hour...usually. Tonight we went to a different Applebee's that usual and were extremely disappointed. We ordered 4 appetizers, margaritas, iced tea, chicken tenders, a side salad and their 4 cheese mac n cheese with bacon. We had to send back 2 appetizers because they were ice cold- the Buffalo wings were still frozen! The cheese with the pretzels tasted like it was straight from the fridge to our table and the pretzels had so much salt, you could have used them to melt snow. The margaritas were ok but not great. We asked for sweetener for our tea and got a small bowl with 2 packets of sugar - for 4 teas! I didn't think anyone could screw up a salad but, I was wrong. The lettuce was wilted and drowning in dressing. We asked for a side of ranch for the mediocre tenders and got barbecue. We never got the ranch. The server was nice but so overworked that we saw her twice during our meal. We had such a bad experience that, I can honestly say

The server was super nice but unfortunately I can not remember his name. The manger was awesome and made sure to make up for the cooks issues. My dinner partner and I ordered the same thing, they messed up his order from the start and had to recook it (before it was brought out) the server did come over and explain what happened and let us know it was going to be a little longer for our order because of the mishap but we were fine with that. When our food came out mine was extremely burnt and dry because they decided to double cook mine to keep it warm. His was also very undercooked because they were trying to rush the order out. Have had the bourbon garlic chicken and shrimp from Apple Bee's plenty of times, but this locations cook was definitely not up to par that day. The customer service was good though. Always willing to give a place a second chance if they make up for the mishap that takes place. Nothing beats great customer service not even a great cooked meal.
