Applebee's Grill + Bar

Okay, I have to say that this was my best dining experience in a long time because we had the BEST WAITRESS- Somebody needs to give ZAKARI G. a raise because she's phenomenal! Met up with a old time friend (we've know each other for 22+ years) to eat dinner and catch up and we were literally at the restaurant talking for like 4 hours. Zakari was attentive and so sweet the whole time- she had great food recommendations (the molten lava cake for dessert that she thought we would like was delicious ????). I cannot say enough good about her and the food- thank you for making our night so memorable and we will 100% aak for your section next time we come.

The last six times I've came here to place an order, it's turned out awful. While the spinach artichoke dip is still delicious as always, the shrimp and parmesan steak I ordered has always been severely undercooked. I ask for medium well to outright well done and it comes out cold and rare. Medium rare if I'm lucky. I used to love coming over here but now I tend to avoid it like the plague.

It has been a few years since I have been to an Applebee's due to bad experiences everytime. Tonight they once again disappointed. We had a table of 9 which is rather large but there was hardly anyone in the place. It took over an hour to get our food which all tasted like it had been sitting under a heating lamp for half that time of waiting. The French onion soup was unedible once I finally did get it. The waitress made a comment while we were ordering about how good the cook was I would have hated to see what their worst chef sent out. To top it off they were supposed to bring out a dessert for my mom's birthday, never got it I could see the disappointment in my moms face about the entire dinner experience. I understand being understaffed everywhere is, but an apology goes a long way. This has pretty much nailed the coffin on ever going to another Applebee's ever. I would have had a better meal at McDonald's up the street.
