Applebee's Grill + Bar

I ordered the Bourbon street chicken and shrimp and didn't get what was advertised. In the picture on the menu the plate was about 3/4 bigger. The chicken was on half the plate with tons of onion and mushrooms, and the mashed potatoes were the other half with multiple toppings. I got a very small plate on top of another plate. I got unseasoned mash with no toppings. My scope was 6 or 8 ounces (not half the plate), it couldn't have been more. The chicken i was served was also very bland and the little flavour it did have was despicable. It tasted like tree bark. I think it was supposed to be mint or pesto, which I will add is usually okay. DO NOT EAT AT THIS LOCATION. Kid-friendliness: Tablets with games are at every table to play. You pay $1.99 to use the games through your meal. They are all low quality games that barely run on the tablet. Trivia is in my opinion is the only reason to use it as an adult.

My wife and I have been to applebees numerous times and always have a pleasant experience. However tonight was the exception. We were seated at a booth and after settling in, looking through the menu, our host asked us to relocate to another section. His explanation was there was no staff available to wait on us in this section. Odd because the table next to us was currently being served. Now my disabled wife and I had to exit our table and move to another section. After being seated, our waitress started taking our order. She did not know the beverage menu and could find our beverage on her order pad until I pointed our selection on th he actual menu. She took our order, shortly she delivered our waters but our beverages never arrived. Twice we asked for our beverages, her response was the bartender was busy. Not true, I was watching the bartender and she was not busy. Finally our beverages arrived, my wife had a glass of wine and I was given a can of beer. I asked for a gl

This would be lower, but our waiter, Vincent was a delightful young man. The service was good, he was prompt, and polite and charming. The food was bad. I ordered the mac and cheese with sweet honey chicken. It was like completely flavorless soup. The chicken was way over cooked and pooling grease. My Cesar salad had a sweet citrus dressing, oh well, fine, but half the romaine was well past being served. Mushy or that pinky brown. My sons steak and mashed potatoes with broccoli was unseasoned. My mom's breaststick was so hard she could bang the table with it. The manager debated the waiter over the 3 bites I took, and finally agreed to a few $off, which I didn't even ask for. Also, there was an employee changing in the only handicapped restroom, which my mom needed to use, but she was in there so long, I ended up having to get my disabled mom up and down off the other toil
