I chose this restaurant yesterday because online reviews and pictures price was ok so I’m like might be good ! Nooo!! I was wrong completely wrong ! Ok I ordered a catfish dinner and fried chicken both with white rice yams and Mac &cheese the chicken skin was tough like they fried it in old oil the fish was SO M’Fin SALTY ????! The max and cheese Lordt i feel like they cooked that like two days before or something because it was burnt bottom and burnt cheese don’t make sense ! It’s already no good food in homestead like do better !.

I came here with my bestfriend it was her first time trying soul food and it was just not it. We couldn’t even finish our food she had to trow out her ribs because they were so dry the rice was undercooked grainy and hard the collard greens tasted like they were canned but at least the mac and cheese was decent dry but ok. I came here with very high expectations Because i had been seen their instagram for a while but sadly i left unsatisfied wont be coming back.

A wide variety of food on the menu. But one hour after opening the fish was gone. Also the website doesn't list daily specials so what I wanted wasn't available. I waited until chicken was fried. The rice had to be steam cooked at home and all the food had a very mild flavor. Perhaps I'll try again, later in the day and pick-up my order. Friendly personnel though. Parking: A very small parking lot. Those picking up blocked entrance and exit.
