At Annabel Lee Tavern in Baltimore, Maryland, you must try their delicious Edgar Allan Poe-inspired dishes such as the "Raven" Burger topped with smoked Gouda and bacon, served on a brioche bun. Another recommendation is the "Pit and the Pendulum" pulled pork sandwich, slow-cooked to perfection and complemented with tangy BBQ sauce. For a unique twist, indulge in the "Masque of the Red Death" pizza featuring creamy gorgonzola, roasted red peppers, and crispy prosciutto on a thin crust. Always one of our go to spots in Baltimore . There is something for everyone here. My wife particularly likes the mango vegetable curry (I'm also a big fan)... I split my orders between the Meatloaf and crab cakes (both are excellent). Pandemic safe and great staff. Looking forward to our next visit! 2.21.22: just had the butternut squash risotto and it was incredible! can't recommend enough ????
I live around the corner and have yet to come here. After sitting down, the waiter spills water on me...a bit. Oh well. I am there for great food and we are all human. I decide to get munchies instead of a meal. Holy cow. ALL of it was immediately having me want to go back for more. The photos below are in chronological order and I am eating, not slowly, as I go. The prices are very reasonable for the portions; especially given the quality. Idk if it is a 10/10, but it is a 9/10 and could be. Definitely coming back and I think you should come check it out too neighbors! - Your Friendyl Neighborhood Odd Job Jones
Annabel Lee tavern is such a fun quirky spot to stop in at. The drinks are great and very affordable. The vibe is very dark and gloomy which fits the Poe vibe. Great service staff, drink selection, and the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had.
