I think this restaurant deserves 5 stars. Ambiance, service, presentation and you definitely get enough to eat. One thing that is mentioned in many reviews and should not be taken lightly, is the reference to many dishes being very spicy. We had Spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, salad and calamari. I am a fan of spicy food and this meal (except the calamari) was a challenge to get thru. Especially the meatballs. Ate one but just thru the second away. Lots of spicy sliced banana peppers on the salad, so the juice with the spicy dressing had a kick. Spicy polish sausage and sauce in the lasagna. Everything had good flavor so I will go back but order something else. If you are not a fan of hot sauce, order the steak. ????

Great Italian restaurant! Not the cheapest around, but quality meals. They have all the traditional Italian options and a couple new ones too. I thought the meatballs and red sauce were REALLY good although they were a little spicy for some in our group. Chocolate cake on the dessert menu was extremely good. Drinks were tasty! Overall solid. Good for big groups too.

What a great new restaurant in the West Glen area of West Des Moines. From the outside to the inside, the decor is beautiful with an obvious upscale Italian vibe. We made reservations ahead of time which I will always recommend if available, but being a new restaurant, I don't think the wait is too long just yet. But I imagine in the future, once discovered more, the wait time may increase if you go without a reservation. We also went on a Monday night. The restaurant did not appear to be busy at 7pm when we went. Our waiter was very pleasant and offered plate suggestions. He emphasized the desire to give us a dining experience which may have been why we waited so long between courses. He didn't seem to let us order all our plates as once. We order appetizers, got out appetizers, waited a bit, ordered drinks, got our drinks, waited a bit more, then finally ordered dinner.
