ANJOO Modern Korean BarBQ and Tapas

Of the many Korean restaurants in the Atlanta area, I can confidently say as a Korean American, that this is one of my top two favorite places. We live 30 minutes away and make an effort to eat here at least once every two weeks. While the barbecue is great, this place's greatest strength is it's appetizers and entrees. They have the fundamentals DOWN, not to be confused with being stuck in strictly traditional Korean cooking (They will adapt and adjust their menu as needed). I highly recommend: Smoked Bossam (I haven't had better, even in Korea), Seafood Pajeon, (and oddly enough) Anju Slider, and my wife loves their Bean Paste Stew. This is just one of those places where you know everything tastes good so you keep going back to try other things on their menu. I haven't tried out a lot of their beverage selection but their Slow Village Makgeoli is hands down the best Makgeoli I've had PERIOD.

Husband and I celebrated an early Valentine’s dinner here today. The entire experience was phenomenal. The food was fresh (C set) and absolutely delicious, the service prompt, and the aesthetic was great. Modern decor was lovely and clean. Max was THE BEST server we have experienced in a very long time. He was attentive, engaging, and very professional. This is a must visit again location!

Excellent quality of food & cleaness, Good enough customer service, Reasonable price. Although 육회 (raw beef) was still slightly frozen, it was good and tasty but not the best of best. Side dishes tasted great and fresh. I like the way the server uses a torche to cook the top part of the meat so it evens out at the same time and reduces the cooking time. It melted in my mouth. Also the restroom was very clean and modern deisnged. I really liked overall interior design which they cooperated the traditional and modern style of Korean food culture. Only thing it confused me was the name of the restaurant. I thought it was a poocha (포차) or 술집 (bar) not a bbq restaurant. That's why it hestiated me to visit in the first time but I realized it was a modern family Korean bbq restaurant. Good place for a family and brining your guests.
