Angelo's Italian Pizza

It’s a nice place to stop by for some authentic food. Although I’d rate them a 5/5 for their food and the restaurant design. I highly disagree with their table cleaning. They use Windex Glass Cleaner instead of a disinfectant to clean up the tables. The tables may look nice, but I question their sanitation. I’m no germ-a-phobe but even my frequent hand washing couldn’t stop the Windex vs disinfectant ratio.

Good food, I like the atmosphere, as always. The cleanliness was questionable as two knives we received were not clean. First knife had something stuck on the blade, second knife was stuck to the napkin, the calamari wasn't quite fried for long enough. The chicken in my Alfredo was great, but the noodles weren't quite as seasoned. Overall good experience, felt bad for the workers running around the whole time.

We loved the old location and tried the new location (same staff & mostly the same food) at 3pm on a Thursday so they were not busy. Service was terrible! It's seems to be mainly family-owned and staffed and they seemed far more interested in talking with each other than serving customers. We actually had to walk around to the "family gathering" just to pay for our food. The food was pretty good. The new location is a real pain to get to if going West on Rt. 60. Given the bad location, price/food, service and so many quality Italian options nearby, we immediately agreed we will not return. It's a shame because we really liked Angelo's and used to go to the old location frequently. EDIT BASED ON OWNER REPLY: We were inconvenienced by the horrible service, not by you being family owned. We like family owned businesses and support them. What an absurd response! Thank you for demonstrating your attitude toward customers.
