American Heroes & Brew

Excellent sandwich selection, with ridiculously good variety of high quality meats along with a long list of craft beers. Server is so kind, running around trying to make everyone happy, a wonderful lunch experience

American Heroes and Brew immediately hooked me and became my favorite place to go as a Carlsbad local. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, The FOOD here is out of this world!! For someone like me, who is a picky eater, and loves a good sandwich or fries, they never ever disappoint. Not only are they tasty, but you can tell the quality of the ingredients the kitchen uses to cook, and they really care about what they put out for their guests. The beer on tap is solid, lots of local brewery options, and light beer and seltzer options in bottles and cans too. There is seriously no better place to watch sports in Carlsbad, they have nearly every sports package on TV, and this place is especially fun on NFL Sundays where they have all the TV’s playing different games! They also play games with the sound on the speakers for bigger events, otherwise the music is always on point. I enjoyed eating here! For a Friday night, it wasn’t very busy, which was actually nice. We got the Tombstone burger and the special, the Baltimore Pit Beef. Both super delicious sandwiches which I’d happily eat any day. Only down side is the price is a bit high to not come with fries or any side. The staff was super friendly and pleasant!
