The ambiance is amazing, food is really good. Prices is good as well. Just as suggestions the kebbeh needs salt was no flavor. And for the mangment please change the host she doesn’t look good or fit with the place neither her outfits or the eyelash it’s not club or bar.
Gorgeous restaurant and very relaxed ambiance. Went there for brunch with 2 other friends. We had the best kibbehs I’ve had in Miami. The date cake was delicious as well. Service was extremely slow, our main dishes were served with a 10 minute difference each, this was after waiting for about 35 minutes. After we asked for each of the rest of the dishes to be served the manager came in to say the food was served as it was ready, but the waitress never warned about this when taking the order. We had to ask for water to be refilled several times. Had to ask for them to bring new utensils after they removed the ones I used for the appetizers. My fatteh was good but was missing salt. The coffee machine was broken so they only had espresso. It’s unfortunate since it’s an expensive restaurant and also had very high expectations since it is part of the INK Entertainment Group, and having tried Byblos and Meet Dalia it was such a disappointment. This was their first brunch weekend, not sure if
Dining out has become more about providing a “cozy home” experience than a traditional dining experience with just tables and chairs! At Amal, a new Lebanese restaurant in Coconut Grove, they have succeeded in providing that lovely “cozy home” experience and a whole lot more! Heads up: Our server mentioned they’ll be opening their rooftop with 360 views and a separate menu, woohoo! Now, about the food… I love that my friend and I like the same kind of food, so it’s easy to share dishes. We started with 2 appetizers… Crispy Eggplant & Zucchini What a beautiful presentation and so addictive, sitting on a bed of labneh, garnished with pomegranate. Truffle Rakakat A Lebanese akawi and mozzarella cheese wrapped in crispy phyllo. Honey drizzled and grapes gave them a nice pop of color. Entrees next, Black Cod, perfectly cooked on bed of tahini, piled high with crispy pita chips. Such an interesting combination. You can’t go to a Lebanese restaurant and not have a Skewer!
