Aloha Plate

Small meat portions. They were out of Mac salad and gave another rice scoop instead without asking or letting us know :(

You know how there’s a reason you only find Sbarro’s in malls? Something tells you the low quality food chain only survives due to the cheap locations full of low-expectation children and their parents desperate to get anything to feed them. There’s a reason you don’t see Aloha Plate anywhere but BYU campus. Mo’ Bettahs and Sweets blow this place out of the water; this is the place you go when you’re sick of Chick-Fil-A and Taco Bell but you don’t have the time to leave campus. This is the ugly person you settle for when you’ve been Dear John’d. Aloha has two meanings, but for this restaurant, it’s best if it just meant ‘goodbye’. Nice employees though.

They give unlimited terriaki sauce for your meal, but charge $$$$ for just a little shoyu sauce. What’s in it? Gold?? I would eat here more often if their meat portions weren’t so small and they let the sauce flow freely. Tastes good, but isn’t worth the money.
