This was the best fast service Hawaiian BBQ I’ve ever had. We ordered the Kailua Pork and Chicken Katsu and they were both delicious. The pork was really juicy and tender, very flavorful without too much salt. Additionally the fried chicken was really tender and “clean”, clearly fried with fresh oil. The proportions were great for the price. Unless your absolutely starving I suggest the “mini” size is plenty big for full meal as it comes with rice and salad. We ordered our food thru DoorDash out of desperation because it was getting late and we couldn’t drive anywhere from our motel. Turns out we made a great decision, our food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Thanks! The few times ive been to Aloha it was pretty tasty for a fast food type place, but this time wasnt great. I usually love kalbi but the meat had a strange taste, like it was old. I had to put alot of sauce on to cover the taste. Might have been just a bad batch of meat, idk if its always like that.
The food really hit the spot when I just wanted to eat some meat and carbs.
