Owner takes tips apparently and then gives them back at the end of the day to "teach a lesson" would be nice to eat here but after seeing that I would avoid this place at all costs
This is one of the mainstays on Western Avenue in the Northside. This trip was my third.to this restaurant. The first was for breakfast about a year ago; the second for lunch a few weeks ago. For the first trip, two eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and hot tea were $11.95, a bit pricey. The waitress was excellent. She was very cheerful and responsive. The second trip was for lunch with my friend. The waitress was excellent. Total bill came to about $26, which is pretty standard. The waitress was cheerful and friendly. The third trip was for breakfast. The bill came to $31. Overall, I question the value proposition for breakfast (which is the basis for my 4 raring), but believe the value proposition for lunch is great.
My favorite breakfast spot! I’ve never had a bad meal or service. Food is delicious with very generous portion sizes and everyone is always so sweet
