Me and my husband went here tonight for dinner. We ordered saag Chana and Hyderabadi baingan. Both dishes were good except the baingan wasn’t as spicy as my husband requested. This is a cute little Bangladeshi restaurant in Manhattan with good customer service. We also had rice, alachi chai, onion kulcha which are highly recommended.

We love. love, love Alachi Masala. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the fact that you can bring your own wine is a real money saver during these poor economic times. Where can two people order two appetizers (vegetable samosa & onion bajji), a special bread (poori), a main course (lamb korma) and a complimentary dessert for less than $50.00....AND take home a doggie bag? Vegetarian options: A whole section of vegetarian specialties on the menu.
