Agavero Cantina - Parkside

Moved back to GA in 2020 (after living in Southern California for 10 years so I've had my fair share of Mexican food) and although it's not Southern California Mexican food, it is very delicious and flavorful Georgia Mexican food. The drinks are NOT watered down and they are one of the few Mexican restaurants in GA (that I've visited since 2020) that use shredded chicken. Met the owner, Carlos, and he was extremely nice and attentive to our needs. We have plans to visit this place more often and am glad we have finally found a place that serves quality, Mexican food. My only complaint is that I am not used to burritos being topped with queso but that seems to be the play in the South.

Love Agavero! Excellent place to eat and people watch in the park. Been coming here when it was just the double decker bus and a couple tables and this place has remained consistent with their delicious food and improved their atmosphere with their deck and seating in the grass. Definitely recommend coming to Agavero!

This place is great and convenient! Had the Texas style quesadilla fajita, I loved it, the shrimp were huge! They serve like warm chips too which was such a great plus, it makes me really excited to try the main location sometime.
