when I read the bad reviews I should've taken that as a sign to stay FAR away from this restaurant. Decided to give it a chance anyways.... I WISH I HADNT. Placed an order for egusi soup with the fufu. Food arrived hot and it had alot of flavor . This is the first meal I've been able to eat without throwing up since my pregnancy started . But I was nearly finished with my meal when I PULLED OUT A FOLDED PIECE OF PAPER out of my food that I almost eat . HOW DO YOU LEAVE THAT IN SOMEONE'S FOOD! I ended up throwing up from the sight of it. I thought I was tripping. Never again . Stay far away. Read the reviews . Waste of money! This place needs to get shut down or investigated. How do you leave something like that in someone's food
Totally disappointed, I drove 36miles across town to buy theip. They used Ajaa for coloring not tomato paste. Fish skin wasn’t completely scraped. I ask for hot sauce and the guy in kitchen told the lady upfront I don’t have enough for my three orders in Wolof and told the lady to tell me the hot sauce is on the rice. Customer service …. Khurrrr!!! He changed his tone when he found out that I speak Wolof. Sorry but never again!!!!
Fantastic dishes! Make sure you like spicy if you order the jerk fish, it was delicious but too hot for me. My boyfriend loved it. Their homemade juices are wonderful too! Make sure to try the sorrel guava juice.
