AFRA GRILL

My husband had always wanted to try this restaurant, so we went there on a Tuesday for an early dinner. Our proteins were roasted goat and habo steak. They were tender and aromatic! I especially loved their flavorful plantains! Our drinks were delicious! The texture of their bashaal juice was fine and smooth. I was amazed by their iced tea that was spiced delicately. It was really good! The staff was friendly and patient. We couldn't ask for more! I gave it 4 stars because they used takeout boxes for dining in, and that did not feel right to me. Nevertheless, I still recommend this restaurant!

This was my first time here. I had been wanting to try this place for the longest. My husband wanted chipotle and I said lets try Afra grill best decision ever!!! I had the Mango Lassa and Chicken Suqaar with spicy rice pickled red onions,salsa,plantains and beans. So delish!!! I will be back forever. The price is worth it!! I taste the flavors and food in my mouth still!!! Great place to try.

Food is very delicious here. I've been several times, I've always ordered my food to go. I would have given them 5 stars but the serving sizes of the food progressively went down hill throughout the past year. I probably won't be going back anymore just because I can't justify the amount of food for the price. Before the price was ok because there was a ton of food but now its like I can go somewhere else because I will disappointed after a few bites. They let you pick 3 items for type of food so I usually get salad and plantains twice. Apparently you're not allowed to get plantains twice or anything twice. So not a fan of having options to choose from but then being controlled on what I can pick. Rubbed me the wrong way so wont go back. FOOD is GREAT nonetheless. Check it out for yourself. Maybe serving sizes will be better in the future. I guess covid had an effect.
