The flavors are engaging delicious and create a sense of home. The meat was flavorful and tender and the rice was cooked to perfection. The price to portion ratio was excellent and the hummus and pita bread as well as the Persian salad were refreshing and welcome additions to the meal. Edward was welcoming and conversational and I appreciate the love in what he does. Thank you. 10/10 , 5/5 , two thumbs up.
Great food - one of the only Mediterranean restaurants with a unique menu in Glendale - but expect to wait, since there is limited seating. Also, the service is hit or miss. The last time we were there, one of the waiters got in a yelling match with a customer. Parking: There is pretty much no parking. Had to street park.
Very good restaurant. They made per my request Persian coobideh with Sumak and Turmeric. Superb. So was the Zeresk pollo rice. So were the remaining dishes we had (tabouli, humus, babaganoush, rice dolmas,yogurt dish, etc, etc) Edward is gracefully host. We will return.
