Driving down 75 around 2pm and hungry. Remembered Abuelo's was somewhere around here. I'd forgotten it is on the west side of 75 until we drove past. Exited on 71st and doubled back. Not crowded at all. Shown to a nice table and brought waters. The chips are very thin but not too thin. Also given three small bowls of salsa. The green and red ones very tasty. My favorite was the chunky red one which is pretty spicy. Michele was very pleasant and immediately introduced herself.
Michael, our server, was amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was great, as always. The green salsa is perfect on a hot day (any day, really)...so refreshing! Always happy with Abuelo's????
Our party of 10 met here on a recent Friday evening for a family dinner. Due to COVID, we were seated at 2 separate, but adjacent tables near the back of the restaurant. I ordered a margarita on the rocks with no salt. It was quite tasty and enjoyable. For my dinner, I chose chicken fajitas. The chicken was good, but the onions and green bell peppers were so undercooked, they were crunchy and barely warm.
