Abuare Restaurant and Bar| Ethiopian Restaurant Washington DC

Really delicious food and good service. I’ve eaten lots of Ethiopian food but this does not disappoint. The food was well seasoned and super tasty. I had the vegetarian combo. Will definitely be back.

We are huge fans of well seasoned Ethiopian food. One of our favorite Ethiopian restaurants had a management/staff change, and with that, the food completely changed. It took us a long time to find a spot with well seasoned food, and now we can definitely say that we've found our new favorite! Abuare is an amazing space. The food is always good, and the staff is friendly and inviting, from the hostess to the two awesome chefs in the kitchen. Tonight, we had a dining experience that felt more like a family dinner, which included not only good food but also laughs, history/geography lessons, and all-around great conversations.
