A1 Pizza & Grills

Alright, so to be completely honest, when we walked in I thought we were strictly in an Indian food establishment. We were greeted by very friendly staff at the counter and we ordered a 14” 1/2 plain and pepperoni pizza to keep things simple. We decided to dine in for lunch and had plenty of space, staff checked on us to make sure everything was good. I should have started by stating that I’m from the Jersey Shore and know what a good pizza tastes like, so if you are looking for that Jersey Shore Pizza this isn’t the place. HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised that the pizza tasted sweet and the crust was damn near perfect. Very happy we decided to take a chance on this place and I would definitely recommend coming here for some pizza.

This place is not the same as A1 on Maiden Choice Lane. I love pizza- even bad pizza (¹) - but this pizza was awful. The sauce was actually sweet - and tasted rancid. I waited 10 minutes longer than what the wait time was supposed to be - and then the pizza was burned on top. It was awful - and wound up throwing it out. Never coming back.

I placed an order through the slice app and I never received it but I was charged for it. I contacted Slice multiple times through a 2 hour period and A1 Pizza did not respond to Slices phone calls. I contacted Slice the next morning to get my refund and A1 Pizza lied and said they delivered my order at 10:20pm. Hey A1 you have just be caught in a lie, I have a Ring door bell camera. I will never order from them again. Business 101 if a customer places an order you follow through with that order and do not steal their money.
