A J's Famous Seafood & PO Boys

It was so nice trying a new seafood spot. We know AJ's is not new but since this was our first time, it was new to us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and cooked to perfection! My hubby and I shared a large chicken and sausage gumbo. He then ordered the fried seafood platter and I ordered the catfish po'boy. The food was outstanding! The only thing I would have done differently with the po'boy is grilled the bun to give it a little crunch. Good seafood experience. We will b happy to return.

Visited this restaurant one Sunday when I was in the area. Loved the ambience and decor. It was quite refreshing considering it is a seafood restaurant. The wait staff was kind. I had the blackened scallops with red beans and rice and also ordered a seafood roll, which was my favorite. My daughter had the shrimp po boy, and I must say that if I wasn’t watching the carbs, I would have definitely ordered one for myself. My bite was delicious! The bread was soft and fluffy and the shrimp was seasoned well and fresh. They have a whole list options for po boys. Check them out if you’re in the area.

Went there yesterday for lunch, OMG SO GOOD!!!!!!!!! Food, service, everything was awesome. Key Lime Pie with the Lime Margarita Mousse was excellent. It was so good before we left there were 3 elderly woman that came in so proper sitting down eating and just having a good time with each other, we anonymously bought them dessert since my wife and I miss our grandmothers. People great food and atmosphere, worth every pennt.
