I love 48th Street Grille. The food is absolutely amazing. I am a sous chef and I can definitely say that this is one of the best authentic Jamaican restaurants in Philadelphia. Everything is flavorful, the quantity is bountiful and overall the food is delicious! I definitely recommend this restaurant to any Jamaican food lovers or someone looking for a good bite to eat. I’m literally eating my platter as I post this review.. lol!
I truly enjoyed my experience when I went to this Caribbean restaurant I cannot remember the young lady's name for the life of me but she was such a joy to be serviced by. The young lady would always excuse herself if she had to break through a conversation with me and my coworkers or if she reached over my water she will always apologize. She was wonderful I didn't experience was magnificent because of her. I ordered the braised oxtails with rice and butter beans for my entree and my appetizer was a chicken patty and beef patty. You can tell the chicken patty was homemade because it had curry in it and it was spicy. I like spicy. I loved the presentation of all the entrees that came out except the patties but they were still tasty. I will definitely come again to try the curry goat next time. Support black businesses!!!
The service was Perfect , Server was attentive and greeted us within a great time frame. The food was DELICIOUS! I mean the wings are to die far ! And the oxtails were so juicy and tender! The mac and cheese was jumping !! And cabbage is BANGING! I drove 1.5 hours away for this and it was worth it
