26 Thai Sushi & Bar (Brookhaven)

Ok, this is definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the area. Although the food is pretty good they get my vote more so for the convenience, quality & service. Yesterday we sat on the patio while celebrating a birthday and although some of our requests pushed what was offered on the menu, they accommodated them all. Nathan was working the bar and he patiently helped us and created us the best drinks!

Today, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try some sushi. I have had tempura before which is always good. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with the menu selections. I had some delicious Crab Cheese Rolls and Sahara Roll. It was a wonderful experience! I will be back.

I visited 26 Thai out of curiosity since it's the first time I've heard of a Thai and Sushi restaurant fusion. Ambience was top - notch, romantic / high end vibe, perfect for a date night. Jenn, my amazing server made several recommendations but I ended up getting Tofu (subbed with chicken) & Eggplant + Black & White Sushi + Thai Tea. Jenn accidentally put in the wrong sushi order, but she was quick to make it right. Service turnaround was quick, food very flavorful, the portion is hhuuuggge for 1 and definitely shareable! Everyone in the restaurant was so sweet, I even had a chance to meet the Manager Kal, who's so hardworking she never left the floor. I'm impressed! I took home over half of what I ordered because of how big the portion was. Will definitely recommend 26 Thai, 2 Thumbs up!
