Went in by myself and was seated promptly. But 2 other parties came in after me, had their orders taken and drinks served while I’m still waiting for someone to take my order. 20 minutes and no one came to me so I walked out. I wanted to support a small restaurant but that was obviously a mistake.
I just ate breakfast here with my wife. It is a nice family owned dinner with great food and service. Highly recommend
My wife and I brought a friend to outpatient eye surgery, and had to wait to take her home. Decided since it was early (7:20am), we'd find a diner and have breakfast. 1800 Cafe was close, well rated, and one of the FEW that was open! (Imagine, breakfast places not opening till 8am! In what alternate universe does THAT make sense?) Well, we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was! Generous portions, well prepared, and the service was great! It was listed as a single $ restaurant, and I would argue with that. We got good food and good service, so I didn't mind paying, but $50 with tip for the two of us for breakfast seems to me to put it in the $$ category! We do recommend it!
