1356 Public House

My friend and I were famished after a hike at Castlewood. We wanted to find something on the way back to the city that was easy and convenient. This option came up so we decided to chance it. Did not disappoint. We were absolutely thrilled with everything. From the service, menu selections and their very good house red ale. Delicious, friendly and easy on the pocket. Big fan! This is a great little spot! We enjoyed our sandwiches and the seasoned fries are FANTASTIC! The service was attentive and accurate. I am thoroughly delighted with our experience and look forward to eating here again! Parking: Parking is challenging in this complex and there is NO HANDICAP PARKING for 1356. Wheelchair accessibility: May be restricted due to no handicap parking and having to turnonce in the door, then turn the other way to get in the restaurant. It's a weird situation.

Very expansive menu with many taste options. Very nice clean pub style atmosphere with many tvs. Has a side party room and clean restrooms. The fries were seasoned with a good unique flavoring. The food is a bit slower but so long as you are not in a hurry it's fine.
